Summer 2015
I spent two weeks at Loyola University Water Tower campus with 49 CPS educators exploring education theory and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) education. Through multiple activities we worked on improving our technology skills as we as investigating our educational philosophies.
Day one opening Activity: Shoot 'n Tweet
My First adventure was Twitter! Trying to fit a persona in 140 characters and a photo!

Tech Tips
My tech tip was a resource called The Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
http://www.hhmi.org/
This website has the latest medical research. In addition to this website the Institute also has an Educator page and the best one is the Biointeractive.
http://www.hhmi.org/biointeractive
This site has video, simulations, lesson plans. They are geared for middle to high school but I feel they can be adapted for elementary students.
Check it out!
