Quickfires were a creative way to show what you learned in addition to working with technological tools. Groups had a task, access to technology, and a time limit. The following are the quickfires we made over the 2 weeks of class.
Quickfire - Video Story Problem We were to take a textbook problem (about how plants spread seeds) and make it more open ended.
Quickfire - Physics Misconception Video This challenge was to take a physics misconception and use stop motion video techniques to show the misconceptions and what actually happens.
Quickfire - How it all STEMS together - This challenge had us show what STEM means to us. We were given the technological tool to use. I was given Google sheets. I made two graphs and then create a haiku on what STEM means to me.
Quickfire - MEME - This challenge was to create a MEME (I had no idea they were called this!) about a common idea about education. Ours was how educators have personal lives.
